The 2007 DAHA Fall Fling

This year we added a different element of support. We teamed up with fellow Arabian Breeders.Net members and united for the support of the breed. We couldn't possibly have had more fun doing it! The show kicked off on a gloomy and windy Friday, but that didn't stop the horse show! Sparkling Cider, took a second place in the Country English Pleasure class. Not soon after, Jennifer Walker and Tamara Torti, both from the Sport Horse divisions, took a shot in the Hunter Pleasure classes. Tamara, abroad Allyssa Jane LLC's Padron's Victory, was in the top 3 of some very nice classes! Jennifer with her horse, One Hot Lady, not to be shown up, were right behind her in the ribbons. This show was also the start of something new. Together, with Jennifer Walker and the help of some amazing team members, we put together the DAHA Sales Parade. The support was amazing! It showcased a variety of extremely beautiful, quality and talented horses. Thank you to all who helped, particpated or attended. We can't wait for the next one! Kaitlyn Ward and her horse, SS Basks Encore, dominated the H/A Western Pleasure JOTR/JTR taking home both the blues and the Tri Colors! On the day of the championships, Sparkling Cider did just what she does best...SPARKLE and took home the Reserve Championship Honors! Jennifer and Tamara competed in their SHUS divisons and did equally as impressive.

This show signified the unity and comradarie that makes it all worthwhile. The results of smiling faces from people attending their first Arabian horse show, then asking how to get involved really proved that if we can have fun and never lose sight of the passion of this wonderful breed, we can succeed.
